The following warranty applies to Exiss “Event”, “Limited”, and “Express Line” trailers only. Exiss “Sport” trailers come with a 5-year warranty and Exiss “Mach 10” trailers come with a 3-year warranty.
"Exiss Aluminum Trailers, Inc. warrants that its product will be free from defective materials and/or workmanship to the original purchaser for a period of seven (7) years from the date of purchase, providing the following conditions are met and satisfied. A copy of the warranty, signed and acknowledged by the dealer and the purchaser, must be returned by the authorized selling dealer to Exiss Aluminum Trailers, Inc. at P.O. Box D, El Reno, OK 73036.
NOTICE: Please send in your warranty forms for the various components used in your trailer. This effort will minimize the frustration of obtaining satisfactory warranty assistance.
A copy of the warranty, signed by the dealer and the purchaser, must be postmarked no later than ten (10) days following purchase of the trailer from the dealer. If warranty is not postmarked by the tenth day, all warranties will be null and void. This seven (7) year warranty covers the main frame consisting of the bottom rail, floor cross members, side posts, roof rail extrusions, king pin and sub-frame only. All other parts manufactured by Exiss Aluminum Trailers, Inc. that attach to the main trailer, such as the doors, gates, dividers, axles, jacks, floors, or any other materials, parts, attachments, options supplied by another vendor to Exiss Aluminum Trailers, Inc. will be warranted for a period of one year. Normal wear items will not be replaced due to wear. These normal wear items include, but are not limited to, bearings, brake linings, and hoses. Damage due to condensation is not a material or workmanship defect. It is controlled by climate, environment, and customer’s style of use.
Damage caused by failure to check and torque lug nuts properly is not covered by warranty.
Exiss Aluminum Trailers, Inc. is not responsible for damage caused by accident or negligence or by the abuse, misapplication, or misuse of a trailer or any of its component parts. Loading in excess of gross vehicle load ratings stated on the certificate plate will invalidate any and all warranties. Products covered by this warranty are designed an engineered to be pulled with a one ton truck or lighter. Pulling said product with a larger or heavier truck voids any warranty whatsoever.
Paint warranty does not cover wear, deterioration, and/or damage from road elements, improper wash solvents, salt, sand, and/or weather conditions. Any damage caused by or attributed to any act of God whatsoever is not covered by manufacturer’s warranty.
Any modification, alteration, or repair to any product manufactured by Exiss Aluminum Trailers, Inc. without Exiss Aluminum Trailers, Inc.’s prior knowledge and consent will void manufacturer’s warranty.
Exiss Aluminum Trailers, Inc.’s obligation under this warranty is limited to repairing or replacing, at Exiss Aluminum Trailers, Inc.’s option, any part or parts thereof which are determined by Exiss Aluminum Trailers, Inc. to be defective in material or workmanship. Any Exiss Aluminum Trailers, Inc. product found to have defective material and/or workmanship must be serviced or repaired by an authorized factory representative or by another service facility, which has been agreed to in writing by the Warranty Department of Exiss Aluminum Trailers, Inc. prior to any work being started. All warranty claims must be authorized in writing by the Exiss Aluminum Trailers, Inc. Warranty Department, prior to any expenses being incurred relating to such possible warranty claims.
Exiss Aluminum Trailers, Inc. may at its sole discretion, request that the customer deliver its product to one of its service facilities or factory locations for warranty work to be done. Any freight transportation charge to or from factory or service center is the sole responsibility of purchaser and shall not be a part of manufacturer’s warranty whatsoever. Exiss Aluminum Trailers, Inc. will not be responsible for consequential, incidental, special or indirect damages of any kind which may be incurred as a result of any defect in material or workmanship, including, but not limited to, loss of time, inconvenience, loss of income from use of said product, or in any way manufacturer will not be responsible for any other fees incurred by purchaser relating to any warranted claims against manufacturer. Exiss Aluminum Trailers, Inc. reserves the right to modify or improve its products covered by this warranty.
When required, photos of defective part or parts or the actual part or parts may have to accompany the warranty approval before payment can or will be made. Any part or parts returned for warranty must be prepaid freight to Exiss Aluminum Trailers, Inc.
Exiss Aluminum Trailers, Inc. makes no other express or implied warranties of fitness or merchantability or any other warranties either express or implied; and any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose which exceeds the foregoing warranty is hereby disclaimed by Exiss Aluminum Trailers, Inc. There are no warranties which extend beyond the description on the face hereof. The purchaser’s exclusive remedy for breach of warranty as a result of defects in material and workmanship shall be as set forth herein. Any action for breach of warranty must be commenced within such period. Exiss Aluminum Trailers, Inc. neither assumes, nor authorizes any other person to assume for it any other liability in connection with its products.
NOTICE: The dealer, by signing this manufacturer’s warranty states
that he has informed and explained to the purchaser all warranty and claim
procedures. By signing this manufacturer’s warranty form, the purchaser
acknowledges that he has read the above warranty and agrees that, should
any warranty claims be made by purchaser, purchaser will follow the procedures
as herein set forth."
